ADJOURNMENT: ____________________________________ Chairperson or Vice Chairperson Posted August 14, 2023  ANNEXATION STAFF REPORT PLANNING COMMISSION August 21, 2023 Owner/Applicant: Town of Summerville TMS#s: 152-00-00-269 Location: along Sawmill Branch Canal trail, behind 118 Sellars Circle Description: one tract totaling 1.8 acres Request: Annexation and Zoning to PL, Public Lands The Town, as property owner, is requesting for the above referenced tract to be annexed into the Town from Dorchester County. The existing zoning in Dorchester County is TRM, respectively. This property was subdivided off from the adjacent parcel and donated to the Town. The Sawmill Branch Canal and trail run through the middle of the property, so the Town is already maintaining a good portion of the property. There are no current plans for the property, but it could be used for additional amenities along the Sawmill Branch Canal trail in the future.
