Public Comment – For items on the September 9, 2021 Town Council meeting agenda only 6. Petitions a. Petition by Summerville Partners of Georgia, LLLP to annex Dorchester Co. TMS#s 152- 00-00-014 and 016, located on Dorchester Road and totaling approximately 278.53 acres. Currently zoned CG, General Commercial and R-4, Multi-family Residential in Dorchester County and will be zoned PUD, Planned Development District, upon annexation into the Town of Summerville’s municipal limits. (Council District 5) Planning Commission held a public hearing and made a recommendation for approval at their meeting on August 16, 2021. Planning and Development Committee voted to move the item to full Council with their recommendation for approval at their meeting on September 7, 2021. Petition by Extra Effort Sports, LLC to annex Dorchester Co. TMS# 144-00-00-075, located at 620 Greenwave Boulevard, approximately 0.918 acres. Currently zoned CG, General Commercial in Dorchester County and will be zoned G-B, General Business upon annexation into the Town of Summerville’s municipal limits. (Council District 4) Planning Commission held a public hearing and made a recommendation for approval at their meeting on August 16, 2021. Planning and Development Committee voted to move the item to full Council with their recommendation for approval at their meeting on September 7, 2021. c. Petition by the Town of Summerville to annex the N. Maple Street right‐of‐way fronting on Tracts 36, 39, 40, 41, 42, 46, 47, 49, 50, 51, 52, 58, 59, 60, 61, 71, and 78. Planning Commission held a public hearing and made a recommendation for approval at their meeting on August 16, 2021. Planning and Development Committee voted to move the item to full Council with their recommendation for approval at their meeting on September 7, 2021. 7. Pending Bills and Resolutions: a. Second and final reading of an ordinance to annex Dorchester Co. TMS# 136-07-01-002, located at 100 W. Butternut Road and totaling approximately 0.85 acres. Currently zoned CN, Neighborhood Commercial in Dorchester County and will be zoned G-B, General Business, upon annexation into the Town of Summerville’s municipal limits. (Council District 1) b. Second and final reading of an ordinance to annex Berkeley County TMS#’s 221-00-00- 005, -200, -201, -202, and 220-00-02-019 (approximately 100.23 acres total), currently zoned PD-OP/IP Planned Development District – Office or Industrial Park in Berkeley County and will be zoned G-B General Business upon annexation into the Town of Summerville’s municipal limits. (Council District 2) c. Second and final reading of an ordinance to annex Berkeley County TMS# 221-00-00-007 (approximately 2.926 acres) located at 1321 Beagle Road; currently zoned HI, Heavy Industrial, in Berkeley County and will be zoned G-B, General Business, upon annexation into the Town of Summerville’s municipal limits. (Council District 2) d. Second and final reading of an ordinance to annex Berkeley County TMS# 221-00-00-006 (approximately 7.36 acres) located on Beagle Road; currently zoned HI, Heavy Industrial, in Berkeley County and will be zoned G-B, General Business, upon annexation into the Town of Summerville’s municipal limits. (Council District 2) e. Second and final reading of an ordinance to rezone TMS#s 130-00-00-008 and 130-00-00- 050, located on N. Maple St., approximately 20.91 acres, and owned by CVEA Summerville I, LLC from N-MX, Neighborhood Mixed-Use to G-B, General Business. (Council District 1) f. Second and final reading of an ordinance to authorize the Mayor or Town Administrator to execute a quit-claim deed for a 1,127.16 square feet portion of an unimproved right-of-way of Noisette Row to AMH Development, LLC. Second and final reading of an ordinance to dissolve the Summerville Redevelopment Corporation h. Second and final reading of an ordinance to amend Chapter 2, Article V, Division 2 – Purchasing, by adding a new section to be known as Section 2-327 – Cooperative Purchasing 8. Introduction of Bills and Resolutions a. First reading of an ordinance adopting the Town of Summerville Midtown Redevelopment Plan; establishing the midtown redevelopment project area; making certain findings of blight within the midtown redevelopment project area; designating and defining redevelopment projects consisting of public improvements within the redevelopment project area; designating appropriate redevelopment project costs; approving an overall redevelopment plan; approving an agreement between the Town and Dorchester County School District No. 2 relating to the foregoing, providing for notice and public hearing in connection with the foregoing; providing for notice of adoption hereof; and other matters related thereto. 9. Miscellaneous a. Resolution for recommendations from the Planning Commission on an amended Capital Improvements Plan and a revised Impact Fee ordinance b. Resolution to grant a License to the Summerville Girls Softball League For the use of Fields 5 & 6 Together With the Adjacent Concession Stand located at the Jerry Blackwell Sports Complex at Gahagan Park 10.
