Supervising Librarian, Christine Mendoza, introduced the Bike Mobile and shared
plans on how it will be used. Library staff will ride both the electric bike pulling the
trailer and the three-wheeler to various sites around Sunnyvale including the
Farmer’s Market, parks and school sites. The goal is to have the Bike Mobile serve
as a conversation magnet so that staff can not only demonstrate library services,
but talk with members of the community about what services would help them
most.
