and responded to Council questions.

Communications System Stage 1 between the County of Santa Clara and the

Director of Public Works Kent Steffens reported a corrected attachment has
been provided prior to the meeting and the staff recommendation is amended
to recommend Midtown Realty, Inc.

Ray Crump recommended support of Sunnyvale brokerages.

MOTION: Councilmember Hendricks moved and Councilmember Larsson
seconded the motion to approve staff recommendation, with a modification of
the realtor to "Midtown Realty, Inc." for the sale of 715 San Conrado Terrace
#6, and authorize the City Manager to enter into an exclusive Purchase and
Sales Agreement with Midtown Realty Inc.; and, should the transaction with
Midtown Realty not go through, Council authorize the City Manager to
negotiate with the next highest bidder. The motion as amended carried by the
following vote:

Specialist; to delete the Senior Management Analyst classifications with the
departmental designations of CDD, Finance, and Public Safety and add the
classification title Senior Management Analyst; and to add the newly
established classification of Network Technician that will become effective at
the beginning of the first pay period after February 25, 2014. The motion

Councilmember Whittum reported on a meeting of the VTA Congestion
Management Committee.
Vice Mayor Davis reported his attendance at the ribbon cutting at the First
Republic Bank opening, a meeting of the the Valley Transportation Authority
Policy Advisory Committee, Restoration Advisory Committee at Moffett Field, a
meeting with Supervisor Simitian and Senator Beall's open house.
Councilmember Martin-Milius reported on a meeting of the Santa Clara Valley
Water District Watershed Advisory Committee.

Councilmember Whittum announced an upcoming meeting of the Levi
Stadium Service Committee, reported a meeting he had with Santa Clara
Councilmember O'Neill, and his attendance at a meeting of the Cherry Hill

Mayor Griffith reported on a meeting of the Cities Association and a meeting
with U.S. Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker, Congressmembers Honda
and Lofgren, and San Jose Mayor Reed.

Vice Mayor Davis requested consideration of a blue ribbon committee to
address the paramedic situation in Sunnyvale be scheduled for an upcoming
agenda.
Councilmember Hendricks sponsored a study issue to look at a policy
regarding giving preference to service providers located in Sunnyvale.
Mayor Griffith and Councilmember Martin-Milius co-sponsored the study issue.

Planning to present materials to Council?
If you wish to provide the City Council with copies of your presentation materials,
please provide 12 copies of the materials to the city clerk (located to the left of the
Council dais). The city clerk will distribute your items to the Council.
