Council directed staff to put forward an emergency ordinance for Council consideration to temporarily suspend the January 1, 2021 Local Minimum Wage Increase due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. Staff followed Council's direction and prepared the emergency ordinance accordingly. 2 20-1015 Approve a Memorandum of Understanding between the City of Sunnyvale and the Public Safety Officers Association, and Adopt a Resolution Amending the City's Salary Resolution and the Schedule of Pay for Pay Plan Category C (Employees Represented by the Public Safety Officers Association) City of Sunnyvale Page 2 Printed on 12/21/2020 City Council Notice and Agenda December 22, 2020 Recommendation: Alternative 1: Authorize the City Manager to Execute the Memorandum of Understanding between the City of Sunnyvale and the Public Safety Officers Association, and Adopt a Resolution Amending the City's Salary Resolution and the Schedule of Pay for Pay Plan Category C (Employees Represented by the Public Safety Officers Association).
