Commissioner Schmidt moved and Vice Chair Gilbert seconded the motion to approve the consent calendar which consisted of the draft minutes of the meeting of September 24, 2013. The motion carried by the following vote: Yes: 4 - Chair Chiu Commissioner Evans Vice Chair Gilbert Commissioner Schmidt No: 0 Absent: 2 - Commissioner Jeong Commissioner Sidhu 2 14-0015 2014 Draft Work Plan Chair Chiu asked Ms. Ise for a staff report. She explained that during the first meeting of each calendar year, the Commission approves a draft work plan that is similar to the Tentative Council Meeting Agenda Calendar (TCMAC) used by Council. It reflects any known public hearing items and/or study issues that will be considered by the Commission during the year. Consent items are not shown on the Work Plan. She added that the work plan that they received in their packet did not include an item that was heard by City Council and referred to the Commission for its consideration. It could have been considered during the January meeting, but the representative from Sunnyvale Community Services could not attend this meeting and asked that it be added to the commission's February meeting agenda. Chair Chiu opened and closed the public hearing at 7:11 p.m. Commissioner Schmidt moved and Vice Chair Gilbert seconded the motion to add an item entitled "Consider Request for Loan Modification from Sunnyvale Community Services" to the Meeting of February 26, 2014. Staff answered her questions following the public hearing. Vice Chair Gilbert moved and Commissioner Evans seconded the motion to approve the Request for Proposals as presented.
