CALL TO ORDER
Pursuant to Government Code Subdivision 54953(e), the meeting was conducted
telephonically; pursuant to state law, the City Council made the necessary findings
by adopting Resolution No. 1089-21, reaffirmed on December 13, 2022.
Chair Giri called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. via teleconference.

PRESENTATION
A 23-0136 Capital Improvements Project Update
Superintendent of Parks and Golf, Jim Stark provided an update on Capital
Improvements Projects. Highlights included the Corn Palace, Plaza de Sol (phase
II), Lakewood Park Renovation, and encouraged the Commission to attend outreach
meetings to listen and provide input.
Commissioners inquired and staff responded:
Will the Commission see the results of the Lakewood Outreach meeting? Yes, a
conceptual plan with consolidated notes will be presented to the Commission before
going to Council.
Jim Stark added that he will email the Commission a copy of the 20-year plan.

Commissioners collectively discussed the study issues.
Chair Giri opened for public comment.
Michael and Stephanie, Sunnyvale residents, voiced his support for DPW 23-04
Explore the Feasibility of Converting the PG&E Lot Between Lois Avenue and
Ramona Avenue into a Public Fenced Dog Park.
Chair Giri closed public comment.
Staff conducted a random voice vote. See the study issue ranking results below:
