CALL TO ORDER
PUBLIC HEARINGS

Location: 653 West Fremont (APN: 202-06-003)
Applicant / Owner: Appletree Montessori/ Pastor Rob Colon
Proposed Project:
USE PERMIT to allow a kindergarten-5th grade afterschool
program at the existing Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
Reason for Permit: A Use Permit is required to allow an afterschool
program at an existing church site.

Issues: Parking, Use.
Recommendation: Approve with Conditions
In attendance: Kellie Vo, Applicant; Andrew Miner, Zoning Administrator; Margaret
Netto, Project Planner; Luis Uribe, Staff Office Assistant.
Mr. Andrew Miner, Zoning Administrator, on behalf of the Director of Community
Development, explained the format that would be observed during the public
hearing.
Mr. Miner announced the subject application.
Margaret Netto, Project Planner, presented the item.
Mr. Miner opened the public hearing.
Kellie Vo, Applicant, received and reviewed a copy of the staff report and had no
questions or comments.
Mr. Miner closed the public hearing.
The Zoning Administrator approved the application subject to the findings and

conditions of approval located in the staff report.
Mr. Miner stated that the decision is final unless appealed to the Planning
Commission with payment of the appeal fee within the 15-day appeal period.
