CALL TO ORDER
Michelle King, Zoning Administrator, called the meeting to order at 3:00 p.m.
PUBLIC HEARINGS
Proposed Project:
USE PERMIT to allow a music school in an existing commercial
center.
Location: 546 Lawrence Expressway Unit 3 (APN: 216-44-086)

Zoning: M-S/POA - Industrial and Service / Places of Assembly
Combining District
Applicant / Owner: The California Conservatory of Guitar (applicant) /
Lawrence Oakmead Center LLC (owner)
Environmental Review: A Class 1 Categorical Exemption relieves this
project from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) provisions.
Project Planner: Momoko Ishijima, 408-730-7532,
mishijima@sunnyvale.ca.gov
Ms. King inquired with Momoko Ishijima, project planner, if there were any additions
or comments on the staff report.
Ms. Ishijima stated there were no additions to the report and no public comments.
Ms. King opened the hearing to the applicant and asked if they had any comments
or questions.
Brian Miller, applicant, stated he was satisfied with the project as put forth in the
report.
Ms. King closed the hearing to public.
ACTION: Approved subject to the findings and conditions of approval located in the
staff report.
