Proposed Project: USE PERMIT: for a tutoring center (education-recreation and enrichment use) in an existing shopping center. Location: 415 N Mary Ave., Suite 106 (APNs: 165-32-009) File #: 2021-7237 Zoning: PPSP/AC - Peery Park Specific Plan / Activity Center Combining District Applicant / Owner: qTran Learning LLC (applicant) / Mary Avenue Retail Lp (owner) Environmental Review: A Class 1 Categorical Exemption relieves this project from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) provisions. Project Planner: Mary Jeyaprakash, (408) 730-7456, mjeyaprakash@sunnyvale.ca.gov Ms. King inquired with Mary Jeyaprakash, project planner, if there were any additions to the staff report. Ms. Jeyaprakash stated that there were no additions to the staff report. There were no comments from the public, as no one from the public was present. Ms. King asked the applicant if they had any comments. Ngoc Tran, applicant, stated she had none. Ms. King Closed the public hearing. Proposed Project: SPECIAL DEVELOPMENT PERMIT: to allow for on-site general sales of alcohol (ABC License Type 70) for the Hilton Homewood Suite Hotel. Location: 830 E. El Camino Real (APN: 211-25-046) File #: 2021-7209 Zoning: C-2-ECR Applicant / Owner: Sunnyvale HHG Hotel Development, LP (applicant)/Tara Kumar, Trustee (owner) Environmental Review: Class 1 Categorical Exemption relieves this project from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) provisions. Project Planner: Cindy Hom, 408-730-7411, chom@sunnyvale.ca.gov Ms. King inquired with Cindy Hom, project planner, if there were any additions to the staff report. Ms. Hom confirmed that she had no changes to the staff report. Ms. King confirmed that no members of the public nor the applicant were present. Ms. King closed the public hearing.
