PROCEEDINGS OF THE COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE MEETING SUPERIOR, WISCONSIN Tuesday, March 16, 2021 The meeting was called to order by President Ludwig at 8:27 p.m. in the Government Center, Board Room 201. ROLL CALL Present: Nick Ledin, Jenny Van Sickle, Warren Bender, Jack Sweeney, Brent Fennessey, Tylor Elm, Ruth Ludwig, Craig Sutherland, Keith Kern – 9 Excused: Esther Dalbec – 1 Also Present: Mayor Paine, City Attorney Prell, City Clerk Kalan 1. WITH POWER TO ACT: Ordinance #O21-4234 introduced by Mayor Paine amending the City Code, Chapter 2, Administration, Article II, Common Council, Section 2-32 Call to Order. Mayor Paine stated that the Council leadership, City Clerk, City Attorney and himself discussed the remote attendance ordinance, which is outdated since the pandemic. He discussed the advantages to the in-person meetings, and proposed changes to current ordinance. Discussion ensued on attendance requirements with virtual attendance. MOTION by Councilor Bender, seconded by Sutherland and carried, to recommend approval of ordinance at the next Regular Council meeting. Committee of the Whole Meeting 1 March 16, 2021
