Proceedings of the Communications and Information Technology Committee City of Superior, Wisconsin February 22, 2021 @ 5:00 p.m. Virtual meeting Committee members present: David Dusek, Matt Starry, Thomas Janicki Council representatives: Councilor Elm, Councilor Sutherland Others present: Dan Shea, Shelley Nelson, Nick Raverty, Mayor Paine, Devin Cox, Todd Janigo, Terry Johnson, Brenda Carlson, Jeff Christensen Participants joined the meeting via Google meet. 1. Approval of minutes: January 25, 2021 Motion by Councilor Sutherland, seconded by David Dusek and carried to approve the minutes from the January 25, 2021 meeting. 2. Discuss questions submitted to Entrypoint Devin Cox and Jeff Christensen from Entrypoint answered some of the questions that were submitted. Motion by Councilor Sutherland, seconded by David Dusek and carried to receive and file the questions submitted to Entrypoint. 3. Held in committee: Mission statement Motion by David Dusek, seconded by Councilor Sutherland and carried to approve the new mission statement. 4. IT updates Director Shea told the committee about ongoing projects including the Building Inspection software, which is moving along nicely, with the deployment date expected ahead of schedule, sometime this summer. We are moving along with the payroll software. At this point we are projecting May of this year as the roll out date for this project. Director Shea also said a position was just posted, a technician position for the IT department. This position will mainly be stationed at Environmental Services.
