Roll Call Members Present: Carolyn Nelson-Kavajecz (Chair), Nikky Farmakes, Lindsey Graskey, Julie Urban, Amanda Korhonen, Heidi Blunt, Nick Ledin (Virtual) Staff Present: Becky Scherf, Linda Cadotte 2. Approval of May 3rd Meeting Minutes MOTION by Graskey, Second by Korhonen, carried to approve. 3. Budget Chief of Staff Scherf went over budget details with commission. Set aside 15k towards Ice Festival. Approx 13k budget remaining. 4. SPONSORSHIP APPLICATIONS 4.1 Mentor North Summer Fest (Requesting $1,000) MOTION by Farmakes to award $200. Second by Graskey. Approved viva voce at $200. 4.2 Family Fun Day (Requesting $500) MOTION by Farmakes to award $150. Second by Korhonen. Approved viva voce at $150. 4.3 Ice Cream Social Fairlawn Mansion (Requesting $750) MOTION by Farmakes to award $250. Second by Urban. Approved viva voce at $250. 4.4 Billings Park Days (Requesting $1,500) MOTION by Farmakes to award $500 to cover city fees. Second by Korhonen. Approved viva voce at $500. 4.5 Dragon Boat Festival (Requesting $15,130) Parks Director Cadotte gave explanation on fees and costs. MOTION by Farmakes, Second by Graskey to approve at $10,172. Approved viva voce and will go to Finance Committee for approval. 4.6 Lake Superior Days (Requesting $1000) MOTION by Graskey, Second by Blunt to award $200. Carried to approve viva voce.
