Will be approved at next Tourism Development Commission meeting. 3 NEW BUSINESS 3.1 Richard I. Bong Historical Center & Superior Tourist Information Center Update – Director John Gidley Presentation given by Director John Gidley. No action taken. 3.2 Capital Project Approval for Richard I. Bong Veterans Historical Center – Pump Bearing Assembly Motor Replacement – Requesting $1244.69 (40% total cost) MOTION by Soliday, second by McGarvey to approve Bong Capital Request in amount of $1244.69 MOTION passes. 3.3 SWIM Update Update given on current --- by COS Scherf. No action taken. 3.4 Charlie Berens Partnership Information presented by COS Scherf. No action taken. Will be considered at future meeting once proposal received from Beren’s agent. 3.5 Multimedia Galley Exhibit Kiosks Information presented by COS Scherf. No action taken. Will invite Hamline University to present at next regular meeting. 3.6 Homegrown Field Guide Ad MOTION by McGarvey, second by Johnson to approve the sponsorship of Homegrown at Platinum level in an amount of $1,650.
