NEW BUSINESS: 6.A Airport Budget comparison from 2014-15 to present. None, information only Public Works Director Bob Godman presented the Airport Budget comparison spreadsheet. Commissioner Weaver inquired into the deletions, Mr. Godman explained it is from grants and Capitol Contributions. Chair Tyndall inquired why the Airport depreciates six figures yearly. Mr. Tyndall asked what is the downside; Commissioner Heyland explained it is political. Mr. Tyndall inquired what is the internal services line item on spreadsheet; Mr. Godman explained it is the 4  Admin cost, such as himself, Marci and Engineer cost, went into detail on how it is tracked. Mr. Tyndall asked what is the airport receiving for the cost. Mr. Heyland inquired about the Bad Debt Expenses; Mr. Godman explained it happens when someone hasn't paid their lease and the $7,000.00 will be a written off; Mr. Heyland asked if that will hit the bottom line; Mr. Godman confirmed. Commissioner Hrezo arrived to the meeting. Mr. Heyland asked if the next meeting they can have the revenue added; Mr. Godman stated he will email it to them after this meeting. Mr. Tyndall asked about Airport Manager Steve Datema contract and MOU; Mr. Godman stated City Admin Dan Newton is working on this. Mr. Godman also stated for the 22/23 Budget that we will be funding 30k into the Airports Cash Account for matching funds for the FAA Grant. Mr. Heyland stated he was not told the truth from the last meeting; Mr. Godman stated we do have funds there. Mr. Heyland went further into detail of why did we steal money out of one account to go into the matching funds account. Mr. Godman explained the difference between the Cash Fund and the CIP Fund. 6.B Update on Helipad landing lights None, information only Mr. Godman presented the City Council approved to move funds from the CIP fund for Helipad Lights. Commissioner Weaver asked to the placement of the lights; Mr. Godman explained they will be replacing the current ones; infrastructure is already there. Mr. Godman explained where the electricity in the past was from Hangar 4, the city will no longer run it through Hangar 4 and will run the electricity from a meter that is used for the helicopter display. Mr. Heyland asked what type of lights were purchased; Mr. Godman stated he is unsure and will need to follow up with Airport Manager Datema. Mr. Heyland asked when the lights will be put in; Mr. Godman stated as soon as they come in but sometime this summer. 6.C Taxiway Project Update None, Information only Mr. Godman presented updated. Stated it is set to be complete next week. FAA approved the gas increase. Mr. Tyndall asked if the striping will be completed as well. Mr. Godman stated it will not. Mr. Godman is going to try and add the airport striping into the contract the City Streets department will be seeking with the Striping company. Mr. Weaver asked what date the taxiway will be complete, Mr. Godman said last communication shows Monday June 13, 2022 it should be completed. 7. CONTINUING BUSINESS: None 8. AIRPORT MANAGERS REPORT: None provided. 9. COMMISION ITEMS: Mr. Tyndall inquired about maintenance needed for the Airport and if there was ability to use CARES funds; Mr. Godman responded that would need RFQ's to proceed. Mr. Tyndall then listed several items that he would like to see repaired and improved. Bob Godman explained we will need an estimate of items in order to go to City Council for approval of fund. Commissioners 5  will supply a list of priority items to be repaired at future meeting. Mr. Tyndall stated he can help with getting the quotes needed. Mr. Tyndall requested a new Master Plan; Mr. Godman stated he will look into the cost of getting a new Master Plan with C & S Consulting. Mr. Tyndall stated the City has been in violation for not having an Airport Planning Committee. Discussion occurred about Airport Planning Committee. Mr. Tyndall asked about sending some commissioners to the Airport conference held in South Lake Tahoe. Mr. Weaver inquired into using ACIP monies for maintenance. Mr. Godman stated as long as it is on the current plan then yes; which it is on the current plan. Mr. Weaver also inquired about the 150k cost for the fence. Mr. Godman explained the reason it has to be completed by an Engineer is to follow the bid process for the FAA. Mr. Heyland stated he would like to see ACIP updated on every agenda moving forward. He also inquired about BILLS Grant money and Susanville Airport has been allotted $159k. Bob Godman was unaware and will inquire; Mr. Tyndall would like to make the fence an agenda item for the next meeting. 10.
