stated he is fairly certain the council will approve the time change to 4:oo pm as requested.
Vice Chair Hrezo inquired if it is necessary to have a meeting every month if we do not
have new business to discuss. Mr. Tyndall answered it is important to have monthly
meetings to show the progress with ACIP. Mr. Hrezo stated if we are accomplishing things
then he has no problem meeting every month. Mr. Godman stated having monthly
meetings also keeps the City Staff on top of the Airport Projects. Mr. Tyndall added it is
good to meet monthly in order to keep the Airport on the City Councils radar.
7.B Update on the 2022 ACIP
Motion to recommend the 2022 ACIP be adopted by the Susanville City Council
Mr. Godman presented the update on the 2022 ACIP, stated he has been working with
Michael from C&S Engineering who is our consultant for the ACIP. They have added some
of the items that were previously discusses and moved other items around. The Perimeter
Fencing project has been moved to year 2027, at that time they will do the preliminary
wildlife study. Following would be the design and construction in separate years, the design
could be done in year 2028. They spoke with our representative from the FAA, the plan is
to get the plan approved before the Conference that is scheduled in Tahoe. Michael is
working on it, once it is complete he will call for a Special Meeting to have the Commission
review the ACIP prior to taking to the City Council. Mr. Tyndall asked when is the last day
to get it submitted, Mr. Godman stated the 21st of September. Commissioner Heyland
asked about an item on the ACIP, year 2025 number one Taxiway C reconstruction and
design; Airport Manager Steve Datema answered.

striping bid, Mr. Godman stated the city had an engineering emergency that has taken up all of
his time along with the Engineering Depts. time so he has not been able to follow up on that
item. Mr. Tyndall inquired about pavement in front of his hangar, he asked if there is a reason
every taxiway has been resurfaced except for those that are leading to runway 2-5. Mr.
Godman stated he is not sure and it has not been brought up to him before. It is something that
can be looked into the future.
