CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL VOTE TO CONVENE IN CLOSED SESSION (CLOSING STATEMENT) Zoom link to view the closed session vote. The City Council will vote to convene in closed session to meet with staff and the City’s attorneys to receive a briefing on a personnel matter and to consult with counsel to receive legal advice regarding the litigation captioned as Cooper v. City of Takoma Park and the related settlement. The meeting will be closed pursuant to Annotated Code of Maryland, General Provisions Article, § 3-305(b)(1) which permits a meeting to be closed to discuss personnel matters and § 3-305(b)(7) which enables the closing of a meeting to receive legal advice.
