SPECIAL MEETING AGENDA 6:00 PM CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL Mayor Searcy Councilmember Landman, Councilmember Dyballa, Councilmember Schlegel, Councilmember Gilbert, Councilmember Honzak, Councilmember Wesolek 6:00 PM VOTE TO CONVENE IN CLOSED SESSION Closing Statement The City Council will vote to convene in closed session at 6:00 PM on Monday, August 4, 2025 on Zoom. (Link to register to view the vote on Zoom.) Pursuant to Maryland Code, § 3-305(b)(1) of the General Provisions Article, the City Council will be meeting in closed session to discuss the appointment, employment, assignment, promotion, discipline, demotion, compensation, removal, resignation, or performance evaluation of an appointee, employee, or official over whom it has jurisdiction; and any other personnel matter that affects one or more specific individuals, for the purpose of determining the scope of an audit related to Cooper v. City of Takoma Park; and/or § 3-305(b)(7) consult with legal counsel to obtain advice regarding the scope of an audit related to Cooper v. City of Takoma Park; and/or § 3-305(b)(13) to the extent records are discussed which are not subject to production to the public under Maryland’s Public Information Act for the purposes of determining the scope of an audit.
