CITY OF TALLMADGE BOARD OF CONTROL Minutes of Regular Meeting Scheduled For: Thursday, August 6, 2020 Members Present: Mayor Kline, Law Director Raber, Finance Director Gilbride, President of Council Kilway, Service Director Royer Meeting Chaired By: Mayor Kline Minutes: Karen Morgan Item 1) Call To Order and Approval of Minutes. The Mayor called the “virtual” meeting to order at 11:00 a.m. on “TEAMS”. Gilbride moved to approve the minutes of the June 8th Board of Control meeting; seconded by Kilway. Vote to approve: 5/0. Item 2) Approval of Change Order #1 (an increase in price of $1,046.28) for the Pavement Marking contract with American Roadway Logistics. The new contract total price is $46,490.81. Rorar: Keep in mind that we put together the amount of linear footage or mileage that we thought would needed to be done and we just underestimated the amount of crosswalks as well as stop lines. We weren’t too far off, just a thousand but it was a measurement mistake on my behalf. Raber: I move to approve Change Order #1, an increase in price of $1,046.28 for the Pavement Marking contract with American Roadway bringing the new contract total price to $46,490.81; seconded by Kilway.
