City Council Special Meeting

SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING in Council Chambers @ 6:00 p.m. July 18, 19 1. CALL TO ORDER: President of Council Kilway called the Special Council Meeting on Thursday, July 18, 2019 to order at 4:00 p.m. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: 2. ROLL CALL: Mrs. Allman, Mr. Carano, Mrs. Kilway, Mr. Loughry, Mr. Sisak, Ms. Tricaso – present. Mr. Donovan was excused. Also present were Mayor Kline Dir. of Law Raber and Clerk of Council Burton. 3. EXECUTIVE SESSION: Mr. Sisak moved to go into Executive Session regarding Collective Bargaining. Seconded Mr. Loughry. Pres. of Council: We have a motion and a second to go into Executive Session to discuss Collective Bargaining. All in favor. All voted aye. We need a roll call? Dir. of Law: Yes. Pres. of Council: Please call the roll. Roll Call: Mr. Carano, Mrs. Kilway, Mr. Loughry, Mr. Sisak, Ms. Tricaso, Mrs. Allman – unanimous. Pres. of Council: With a vote of 6-0 we will be going into Executive Session at 4:02 p.m. Pres. of Council: It is now 4:24 p.m. and we are back on the floor from Executive Session. 4. CONSIDERATION OF FACT-FINDING REPORT – INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF FIREFIGHTERS, LOCAL 2764. Pres. of Council: Do I have a motion? Mr. Loughry: Mrs. Kilway; I move to adopt the Fact-Finding Report with the MOU (Memorandum of Understanding). Seconded Mr. Sisak. Pres. of Council: We have a motion and a second to adopt the Fact-Finding Report with the Memorandum of Understanding. Is there any other discussion? No one responded. Roll Call: Mrs. Kilway, Mr. Loughry, Mr. Sisak, Ms. Tricaso, Mrs. Allman, Mr. Carano – unanimous. The Fact-Finders Report with the Memorandum of Understanding has been accepted by a vote of 6-0. 5. Pres. of Council: Is there anything else to come before us today? No one responded. 6. ADJOURNMENT: Mr. Sisak moved to adjourn. Seconded Mrs. Allman. Voice vote 6-0.
