MINUTES OF THE CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION MEETING March 16, 2015 - 3:30 P.M. Members Present: Chairman Jan Naso Commissioner Tom Kot Commissioner Christine Higham Non-Members Mayor Dave Kline Present: Director of Law Megan Raber ______________________________________________________________________________ The March 16, 2015 Civil Service Commission meeting was called to order. Minutes of the March 2, 2015 meeting were approved as published. Chairman Naso announced that the Schools hired someone from the re-opened eligibility list for the position of Custodian and someone from the re-opened eligibility list for the position of Cook/Food Service Worker. Both persons began employment with the Schools today. Chairman Naso informed everyone that result letters had been sent to all candidates who sat for the Patrol Officer Exam and the top fifty candidates only were invited to the Physical Agility Test on March 22, 2015. Mr. Naso told everyone that the posting for the Chief of Police Assessment Center will be completed in the next week or two and then the assessment center can be scheduled. This will take place so that a Police Chief can be appointed by July 1. After the Police Chief Test, a test for the position of Fire Chief will be administered. Also, a test needs to be scheduled for the position of Part-Time Firefighter. The Commission will be utilizing Pat Ramsey for all three tests.
