TALLMADGE CITY COUNCIL MINUTES COUNCIL OF THE WHOLE COMMITTEE MEETING MONDAY, FEBRUARY 25, 2013 – 7:00 P.M. IN COUNCIL CHAMBERS ************** Committee of the Whole Linda S. Poinar – Pres. of Council CALL TO ORDER: Pres. of Council Poinar called the Council Committee meeting of 2-25-13 to order at 7:00 p.m. ROLL CALL: Mr. Sarver, Mrs. Ray, Mrs. Kilway, Mr. Maguire, Mr. Donovan, Mr. Stalnaker and Mrs. Poinar – present. Also present were Mayor Kline, Dir. of Finance Shanafelt, Dir. of Law Raber, Dir. of Public Service Esler and Economic Developer Loughry. COMMUNITY INPUT: Pres. of Council: This is our Committee meeting. We have our Regular business meeting where we read our legislation into the record and vote on it, hold it over, amend it, etc. Those meetings are on the second and fourth Thursday’s of the month. On the Monday’s that precede those Thursday’s we have our Committee meetings, which we are having tonight and that is when we look at the legislation before us and discuss any other miscellaneous things that we are having problems with or need to discuss. So, this is our meeting when we most welcome public input and this is the time when we would actually welcome anyone who would like to address City Council. If you are here for a certain piece of legislation; I would ask that you would wait until that comes up on the agenda and then if you want to speak about it, then we will let you talk then. But, if anyone is here to talk about any miscellaneous topic; now is the time to step up to the podium. Students; do any of you have a question? No one responded. PUBLIC HEARINGS: None. ADOPT 3-0 Extending the performance and maintenance guarantees for landscaping within Eastpointe Phase One Planned Residential Development and providing for immediate enactment. COMMUNITY ISSUES/SAFETY Gene Stalnaker – Chair Carol Kilway – Vice Chair Kim Ray rd Ordinance 40-2013 At 3 Reading. POLL 3-0 Authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with the Tallmadge Little League, Inc. for lease of Mack Burleson Field and providing for imme- diate enactment.
