TALLMADGE CITY COUNCIL MINUTES COUNCIL OF THE WHOLE COMMITTEE MEETING TUESDAY, JANUARY 21, 2014 – 7:00 P.M. IN COUNCIL CHAMBERS ************** Committee of the Whole James M. Donovan – Pres. of Council CALL TO ORDER: Pres. of Council Donovan called the Council Committee meeting of 1-21-14 to order at 7:00 p.m. ROLL CALL: Mr. Rensel, Ms. Tricaso, Mrs. Kilway, Mrs. Ray, Mr. Sisak, Mr. Stalnaker, Mr. Donovan – present. Also present were Mayor Kline, Dir. of Law Raber, Ass’t. Dir. of Finance Raber, Dir. of Public Service Esler and Economic Developer Loughry. COMMUNITY INPUT: Pres. of Council: Council meets on the first and third (second and fourth) Monday’s of the month; this is an exception because of the holiday. Thursday meetings are our business meetings where we actually vote on the legislation. We do allow a limited time for community input. The Monday meetings are our Committee meetings and when we actually discuss the legislation before it is passed or voted on. We do allow some time for public input on the Monday meetings. So, if anybody would like to address Council; now is the time to do that. No one responded. PUBLIC HEARINGS: None. ANNOUNCEMENTS: None. Dir. of Law: If I might, I would like to at this time, and I can certainly hold off until somewhere else if need be, but I do have additional information on the alcohol permit questions that we discussed at the last Council meeting and I wanted to address that with Council if I could take this opportunity to do that. ADOPTION 3-0 Amending and supplementing Ordinance 32- nd GIVE 2 READING 3-0 1982 to vacate the remaining portion of Sunrise Street and not needed for municipal purposes.
