April 12, 2016 Registrar of Voters Board Meeting Attendees:  Bill Tranter, Chairman  Carol Welch – not present  Roger Hoffmann  Elizabeth Pottier Meeting called to order at 4:45pm Meeting minutes of March 15, 2016 approved at the meeting by the Board, motion carried 3-0. Vouchers approved – motion carried 3-0. New Business City Engineer Letter on 2020 Proposed Changes The City Engineer, Mark Slusarz, wrote a letter to Mayor Hoye, City Planner, and ROV Manager, L. Bairos regarding suggestions to the Taunton map. Two of three items involve voter ward changes.  47 properties from 1B to 2B  4 properties from 8A to 8B  Remaining item involves commercial and state property, no voters, 4B to 3B  Motion – send communication to Mark Slusarz, City Engineer indicating ROV Board support on proposed changes – motion carried 3-0. Nomination papers The Board reviewed the nomination papers; no issues for discussion Vacation Request ROV Office Manager, L. Bairos, submitted a vacation request letter to the Board  Board approved vacation request; motion carried 3-0. Old Business ROV department printer The department confirmed the new printer arrived and works properly.  IT department dropped in to the meeting; discussion included monitor screens for two office computers with the intent to ease review and input. IT department will review options and communicate results to ROV department.  New City of Taunton website includes options to post meetings, and agendas; IT department walked the Board and ROV Office Manager through the new website and ease of use changes Next meeting scheduled for Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. Motion to adjourn carried 3-0.
