December 12, 2016 Registrar of Voters Board Meeting Attendees:  Bill Tranter, Chairman  Carol Welch  Roger Hoffmann  Elizabeth Pottier Meeting was called to order at 4:40pm Meeting minutes for November 8, 2016 accepted; motion carried 4-0. Business vouchers approved and accepted; motion carried 4-0. Old Business There were no military or overseas ballots to count as per discussion from the November 8, 2016 meeting. Board member R. Hoffmann asked about the “all others” category vs. “write-in” on the recount/audit form created by L. Bairos for the purpose of the State Auditor’s Office (SAO) recount (audit) process. The City of Taunton was not randomly selected by the (SAO) as one of the cities/towns for the recount. The Board agreed the form created by L. Bairos was excellent and should be saved in the event of any future recount. New Business No new business The next meeting will be held January 17, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. The meeting adjourned at 5:00 p.m.
