January 17, 2017 Registrar of Voters Board Meeting Attendees:  Bill Tranter, Chairman  Carol Welch  Roger Hoffmann  Elizabeth Pottier Meeting was called to order at 5:00pm Meeting minutes for December 12, 2016 accepted; motion carried 4-0. Business vouchers approved and accepted; motion carried 4-0. Old Business No old business. New Business Political calendar 2017 discussed and a motion to table approval until the Chairman can discuss the City Charter with the City Solicitor. The Board’s concern involves political calendar dates vs. the Taunton City Charter. Pending this discussion, a change may be needed to the City Charter. The Board will discuss next steps in the event a change is needed at the next meeting. The next meeting will be held February 14, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. The meeting adjourned at 5:45 p.m.
