August 8, 2017 Registrar of Voters Board Meeting Attendees:  Bill Tranter, Chairman  Carol Welch  Roger Hoffmann, absent  Elizabeth Pottier Meeting was called to order at 5pm Meeting minutes for June 13, 2017 accepted; motion carried 4-0. Business vouchers reviewed and approved; motion carried 4-0. Old Business - The Confirmation Cards were sent in August. - The ROV department will no longer obtain a subscription for the Taunton Daily Gazette. The Mayor’s Office maintains a subscription and their office will provide it to the ROV department daily. New Business - Annual training guide from the Secretary of State’s Office printed and provided to the Board. The ROV department confirms they have received and understand the election guide contents. The Board Chairman requests the guide be copied and bound for each member of the Board and the ROV department (6 bound copies). - Nomination papers received and certified by the ROV department. The official deadline for nomination papers was August 8, 2017. - Based on nomination papers received, no primary required The next meeting will be held September 12, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. The meeting adjourned at 5:30 p.m.
