October 10, 2017 Registrar of Voters Board Meeting Attendees:  Bill Tranter, Chairman - absent  Carol Welch  Roger Hoffmann  Elizabeth Pottier Meeting was called to order at 6:05pm Meeting minutes for August 8, 2017 accepted; motion carried 3-0. Business vouchers reviewed and approved; motion carried 3-0. Old Business - Confirmation cards arriving as expected with minimum volume of returned for address issue. - Letters sent to all polling locations indicating no primary needed. - The Secretary of State Annual Training document was prepared as discussed at the last meeting. Each ROV Board member received the information in a binder with color coded tabs for easy reading/reviewing. Thank you to Lisa Bairos for providing the information in an easy to read format! New Business - Conflict of Interest Law “Acknowledgement of Receipt” memo signed by members present. - ROV Board Chairman will sign the memo at the next meeting. The deadline for signature is 11/14/17. - Petitions “C – Pay Family Medical Leave” and Petition “B – Minimum Wage”. Petition due date November 22, 2017 at 5pm. The petitions, received to date, were reviewed and certified by the ROV office. More petitions expected prior to the 2018 election. The next meeting will be held November 7, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. The meeting adjourned at 6:22 p.m.
