TENAFLY PUBLIC LIBRARY MINUTES OF THE BOARD MEETING August 1, 2023 Special Zoom Meeting Called The Board of Trustees of the Tenafly Public Library met via Zoom on August 1, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. for a special Board meeting. Board Members Present: President Kathleen Cook, Vice President Soon Juhng, Secretary/Treasurer Martin Gilbert, Teresa Austin, David DiGregorio, Julie Lev, Nicole Motz and Elizabeth Warms. Staff Present: Library Director Julie Marallo and Administrative Assistant Ann Marie Connolly. The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. Julie Marallo reported that notices of the meeting had been posted and sent to the media. The Board of Trustees met to discuss the exclusion of the roof over the front entrance and picture book room in the bid proposal for the library’s Roof Replacement Project. At the May 23, 2023 Council Meeting, the Borough Council agreed that the Tenafly Library Roof Replacement Project would include three (3) flat roofs, including the roof over the front entrance and picture book room, as an alternate bid. After discussion a motion was made to forward the attached letter to the Mayor and Council. Moved by: Kathleen Cook. Seconded by: Martin Gilbert. Unanimously Accepted.
