Proclamation declaring Tuesday, February 16, 2021 as “Ava Simpson Day” (This agenda item sponsored by Director Jeff Hart) (CCD) CONSENT 2. Approval of the minutes of the regular meeting February 1, 2021. (CCD) 3. Adopt a Resolution authorizing the City Manager to enter into a contract for the Millwood Water Treatment Plant Transfer Switch Project. (TWU) 4. Adopt a Resolution to award an engineering contract to A.L. Franks Engineering for the Nix Creek Drainage Study. (PWD) 5. Adopt a Resolution to award an engineering contract to A.L. Franks Engineering for the design of Sanderson Lane, Tennessee Road and E. 46th Street Road Improvements. (PWD) REGULAR 6. Adopt a Resolution amending the budget to allocate funding for Interstate-30 lights from the General Fund Reserve Balance. (PWD) 7. Adopt an Ordinance amending and restating Sec. 9.7 of the City of Texarkana, Arkansas Code of Ordinances concerning the sale and discharge of fireworks and for other purposes. (BOD) (This item was added to the agenda at the request of Director Terry Roberts) CITIZEN COMMUNICATION A limit of five (5) minutes per person is allotted for citizens to express their concerns to the Board of Directors, with a maximum of fifty (50) minutes reserved for Citizens Communication. The Board of Directors cannot respond to citizens’ concerns during this time.
