Notice of Meeting and Agenda The Village City Council Regular Meeting 6:30 pm, Monday, September 9, 2024 2304 Manchester Dr., The Village, OK 73120 The City of The Village encourages community participation. If participation at any public meeting is not possible due to a limitation or disability, please notify the City Clerk within 48 hours prior to any public meeting so that reasonable accommodations, to include signing, can be made. This meeting is livestreamed and recorded for viewing at www.youtube.com/@CityofTheVillage/streams Official action can only be taken on items which appear on the agenda. The City Council may adopt, approve, ratify, deny, defer, recommend, amend, strike, or continue any agenda item. When more information is needed to act on an item, the Mayor or City Council may refer the matter to the City Manager or City Attorney. The City Council may also refer items to staff or committees for additional study. Under certain circumstances, items are deferred to a specific later date or stricken from the agenda entirely. Claims for the month of August 2024. 4. Consideration of presentation from Casady School regarding upcoming projects on campus. 5. Consideration of a Lease Agreement with the City of The Village and the Metropolitan Library Commission of Oklahoma County for the Metropolitan Library System to lease real property at 10307 North Pennsylvania. 6. Consideration of Resolution 09-09-2024 (A) regarding a Special Public Event Permit and process to obtain such. 7. Consideration of directing the city manager to prepare an ordinance to dissolve the Traffic and Safety Commission. 8. Community Comments: Community members must complete the registration form prior to the meeting being called to order and have three (3) minutes to present items, issues, concerns, compliments and feedback to the Council. The Council is prohibited by the Oklahoma Open Meetings Act from engaging in discussion or taking action on matters presented, that are not listed as an action item on the posted agenda. 11.
