Public Hearing for Millage Rate (Adoption)/Special Meeting

Town of Thunderbolt Special Meeting and Public Hearing, Adoption of the Proposed Millage July 16, 2025 Mayor Williams called the meeting to order at 6:00PM, July 16, 2025. Those in attendance were Council Members David Crenshaw, Lawrence Ward, and Dr. Edward Drohan, Also in attendance were Matthew Walker, Town Administrator and Jan LeViner, Town Clerk. Mayor Williams offered the Invocation and led the Pledge of Allegiance. Councilman Ward made a motion to approve the agenda. Councilman Crenshaw seconded. Vote was unanimous to approve. Mayor Williams opened the Public Hearing for the Adoption of the Proposed Millage Rate. Being no public comment, Councilman Crenshaw made a motion to close the Public Hearing. Dr. Drohan seconded. Vote was unanimous. Councilman Ward made a motion to adopt the proposed millage rate. Councilman Crenshaw seconded. Vote was unanimous to adopt. Consent Agenda  Council Member Crenshaw made a motion to approve the purchase of a Mini Excavator and Trailer. Council Member Ward seconded. Vote was unanimous to approve. Councilman Ward made a motion to approve the consent agenda. Dr. Drohan seconded. Vote was unanimous to approve. Councilman Ward made a motion to adjourn. Councilman Crenshaw seconded.
