Village of Tilton Board Meeting October 15, 2020 6:00 pm Mayor Phillips calls the meeting order and roll call was taken. Trustee’s Barrett, Finley, Sheets, Washkowiak and Wear are present. Trustee Washkowiak made a Motion to accept the minutes of September 15, 2020 board meeting and pay bills listed over $1,500.00, Trustee Barrett second. All five Trustees presents voted yea. Motion carried. Trustee Wear made a motion to appoint Scott Mitchell, board member to replace resignation of Brian Cornett. Trustee Washkowiak second. All five Trustees presents voted yea. All six Trustees present voted yea. Motion carried. Trustee Finley made a motion to approve contract through Land Bank with Bart Hayes for Keegan/Washington property for $3,000.00. Trustee Wear made a motion to annex the property behind old GM property, which can be done with publishing by attorneys. Trustee Sheets second. All six Trustees present voted yea. Motion carried. Trustee Washkowiak made a motion to waive 2020 gaming fees and liquor fees for Better Days, Carla’s, Cool Cat, Mike and Robins, Saloon by the Rail, Richs, Dottys and Lucky's Landing due to the restrictions faced by COVID 19, Trustee Finley second. All six Trustees present voted yea. Motion carried. Trustee Wear made a motion to purchase new garage door for Public Works for $5,369.00. Trustee Barrett second. All six Trustees present voted yea. Motion carried. Trustee Sheets made a motion to condemn 1527 Meitzler, $8500.00 estimate tear down; 207 E 5th, $9,000.00 estimate tear down; 109 W 4th, $6,500.00 estimate tear down; 1909 Washington, $11,000.00 estimate tear down. Trustee Wear made a motion for ORDINANCE O-2020-10-22 ADDING SECTION 15 TO ORDINANCE NUMBER 2001-12-13, UTILITY TAX ORDINANCE AS AMENDED. Trustee Finely second. All six Trustees present voted yea. Motion carried. Trustee Wear made a motion for Stark Final Pay Estimate #12, $214,262.28, Trustee Washkowiak second. All six Trustees present voted yea. Motion carried.
