Special Meeting

MINUTES FOR THE AUGUST 29, 2024 VILLAGE OF TISKILWA SPECIAL MEETING The Village of Tiskilwa held a Special Meeting on August 29, 2024 at 6:00 P. M. at the Tiskilwa Fire Station. Answering roll call were Mayor Michael Murray, Trustees Daniel Acker, Amy Kline, Jamie Cole, Daniel Yepsen, Brett Klinefelter and John Funderberg. Our Village Engineer Jack Kusek and a representative from North Central Council of Governments were also present. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the bids for the West Park construction project that were received. There were three bids presented and all being over one million dollars. Our grant is for $600,000. The Board discussed adjusting improvements based on the cost with the most important being the new court and the new bathrooms. Trustee Acker made a motion to authorize Value Engineering with Key Builders being the low bidder, provided we get approval by the I.D.N.R., seconded by Trustee Kline. All ayes on a roll call vote.
