PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION MEETING

1.0 Call to Order
The meeting was called to order at 4:02 p.m. by Mayor Gretchen Fagan.

2.0 The following public comments were received:
Kathleen Truex - Letter was read on her behalf requesting council to
Cut-A-Rug Dance Studio reconsider proposed zoning for her property

3.0 Workshop Session:
3.1 The Tomball City Council and the Planning and Zoning Commission entered into a
workshop session to review the Downtown Specific Plan, as presented by Partners for
Strategic Action (PSA).
4.0 Motion was made by Councilman Dodson, second by Councilman Townsend, to adjourn the
meeting.
Motion carried unanimously.
Meeting adjourned at 5:52 p.m.

Notice is hereby given of a meeting of the Tomball City Council and the Planning and Zoning
Commission, to be held on Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at 4:00 p.m., Tomball City Hall, 401
Market Street, Tomball, Texas 77375, for the purpose of considering the following agenda items.
All agenda items are subject to action. The Tomball City Council and the Planning and Zoning
Commission reserve the right to meet in a closed session for consultation with attorney on any
agenda item should the need arise and if applicable pursuant to authorization by Title 5, Chapter
551, of the Texas Government Code.
1.0 Call to Order
2.0 Public Comments and Receipt of Petitions (At this time, anyone will be allowed to speak on any
matter other than personnel matters or matters under litigation, for length of time not to exceed
three minutes. No Commission discussion or action may take place on a matter until such matter
has been placed on an agenda and posted in accordance with law.)
3.0 Workshop Session:
3.1 The Tomball City Council and the Planning and Zoning Commission will enter
into a workshop session to review the Downtown Specific Plan, as presented by
Partners for Strategic Action (PSA)
4.0 Adjournment
