NOTICE OF REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING CITY OF TOMBALL, TEXAS MONDAY, JULY 2, 2018 6:00 P.M. Notice is hereby given of a Regular meeting of the Tomball City Council, to be held on Monday, July 2, 2018 at 6:00 p.m., City Hall, 401 Market Street, Tomball, Texas 77375, for the purpose of considering the following agenda items. All agenda items are subject to action. The Tomball City Council reserves the right to meet in a closed session for consultation with attorney on any agenda item should the need arise and if applicable pursuant to authorization by Title 5, Chapter 551, of the Texas Government Code. 1.0 Call to Order 2.0 Invocation • Led by Pastor Sean Mooney, Relate Community Church 3.0 Pledges to U. No Council/Board discussion or action may take place on a matter until such matter has been placed on an agenda and posted in accordance with law - GC, 551.042.] 5.0 Reports and Announcements: • Tomball City Pool – 2018 Swim Season - Jerry Matheson Park Pool will operate with normal hours through August 19. From August 20 through September 2, the pool will be open on Saturday and Sunday only. The pool will be closed every Monday during swim season 2018, except Memorial Day (May 28), July 4th, and Labor Day (September 3). Normal pool hours are: Tuesday – Friday: 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and Saturday & Sunday: 12 p.m.-8 p.m. • TOMBALL KID'S CLUB – July 10, 12, 17, 19, 24, 26, and 31; August 2, 7, 9, 14, and 16 from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., at the Tomball Community Center and July 13, 20, and 27; August 3, 10, and 17 from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at LoneStar College-Tomball Community Library • July 4, 2018 – July Fourth Celebration & Street Festival – Business 249 at FM 2920  Agenda Regular City Council Meeting July 2, 2018 Page 2 of 2 • July 7, 2018 – 2nd Saturday at the Depot • August 3, 2018 – Tomball Night & Parade of Lights • September 15, 2018 – GroovFest’18 at the Depot • Reports by City staff and members of Council about items of community interest on which no action will be taken 6.0 Approve the Minutes of the June 18, 2018 Special and Regular Tomball City Council Meetings 7.0 New Business: 7.1 Award contract for Broussard Community Park Site Lift Station, Project Bid Number 2018-10, to B-5 Construction Company, Inc. in the Amount of $202,540.00 7.2 Appoint Member to Unexpired Term, Position 1, Tomball Regional Health Foundation, for Term Ending September 1, 2018 7.3 Appoint/Reappoint Members to the Tomball Economic Development Corporation Board of Directors for New Terms Expiring May 31, 2020 7.4 Appoint Member to Vacancy of Alternate Member Position 3 on the Board of Adjustments for Term Expiring March 2, 2020 8.0 Adjournment CERTIFICATION I hereby certify that the above notice of meeting was posted on the bulletin board of City Hall, City of Tomball, Texas, a place readily accessible to the general public at all times, on the 28th day of June 2018 by 5:00 p.m., and remained posted for at least 72 continuous hours preceding the scheduled time of said meeting.
