MINUTES OF SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING CITY OF TOMBALL, TEXAS MONDAY, JULY 21, 2014 5:00 P.M. 1.0 The Council meeting was called to order at 5:00 p.m. by Mayor Fagan. Other members present were: Councilman Stoll Councilman Degges Councilman Townsend Councilman Klein Quinn Members absent: Councilman Hudgens - Excused Others present: City Manager – George Shackelford Assistant City Manager/Police Chief – Robert Hauck City Secretary – Doris Speer City Attorney – Scott Bounds Fire Chief – Randy Parr Director of Public Works – David Kauffman Marketing Director – Mike Baxter Community Development Director – Craig Meyers City Engineer – Lori Lakatos Finance Director – Glenn Windsor Accountant – Christine Brookshire IT Manager – Doug Tippey HR Director – Lisa Coe Public Administration Intern – Amelia Vasquez 2.0 The following public comment was received: Mary Harvey - Expressed her concerns regarding funds 405 S. Walnut, 77375 currently budgeted for the Museum Complex and their request for additional funding. Minutes Special City Council Meeting July 21, 2014 Page 2 of 2 3.0 New Business: 3.1 The Tomball City Council entered into a Workshop Session regarding the Fiscal Year 2014-2015 Budget. 4.0 Motion was made by Councilman Townsend, second by Councilman Stoll, to adjourn. Vote was as follows: Councilman Hudgens Absent Councilman Stoll Aye Councilman Degges Abstain Councilman Townsend Aye Councilman Klein Quinn Aye Motion carried, 3 votes Aye, 1 Abstain. Notice is hereby given of a Special meeting of the Tomball City Council, to be held on Monday, July 21, 2014 at 5:00 p.m., City Hall, 401 Market Street, Tomball, Texas 77375, for the purpose of considering the following agenda items. All agenda items are subject to action. The Tomball City Council reserves the right to meet in a closed session for consultation with attorney on any agenda item should the need arise and if applicable pursuant to authorization by Title 5, Chapter 551, of the Texas Government Code. 1.0 Call to Order 2.0 Public Comments and Receipt of Petitions (At this time, anyone will be allowed to speak on any matter other than personnel matters or matters under litigation, for length of time not to exceed three minutes.
