MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL JOINT TOMBALL CITY COUNCIL AND TOMBALL ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION MEETING CITY OF TOMBALL, TEXAS MONDAY, DECEMBER 7, 2015 5:00 P.M. 1.0 Call to Order The Council meeting was called to order at 5:01 p.m. by Mayor Fagan. Other members present: Councilman Hudgens Councilman Klein Quinn Councilman Townsend Councilman Degges Councilman Stoll The Tomball Economic Development Corporation meeting was called to order at 5:02 p.m. by President Fagan. Other members present: Board Member Richard Bruce Board Member Vincent O’Donnell Board Member Bill Sumner Board Member Lori Klein Quinn Others present: City Manager – George Shackelford Assistant City Manager – Robert Hauck City Secretary – Doris Speer City Attorney – Loren Smith Finance Director – Glenn Windsor Director of Community Development – Craig Meyers City Engineer – Lori Lakatos Executive Director-TEDC – Kelly Violette CSO Administrative Assistant – Tracy Garcia 2.0 No Public Comments were received. Minutes Special Joint Tomball City Council and Tomball Economic Development Corporation Meeting December 7, 2015 Page 2 of 2 3.0 New Business: 3.1 Executive Session: The Tomball City Council and the Tomball Economic Development Corporation recessed at 5:02 p.m. to meet in Executive Session as Authorized by Title 5, Chapter 551, Government Code, the Texas Open Meetings Act, for the Following Purpose(s): • Sec. 551.072 – Deliberations Regarding Real Property • Sec. 551.087 – Deliberations Regarding Economic Development Upon reconvening into special session at 5:54 p.m., no action was taken. 3.0 Motion was made by Board Member Bill Sumner, second by Board Member Lori Klein Quinn, to adjourn the Tomball Economic Development Corporation meeting. Motion carried unanimously. Motion was made by Councilmember Townsend, second by Councilmember Stoll, to adjourn the Tomball City Council meeting. Motion carried unanimously. Meetings were adjourned. Notice is hereby given of a Special Joint meeting of the Tomball City Council and the Tomball Economic Development Corporation, to be held on Monday, December 7, 2015 at 5:00 p.m., City Hall, 401 Market Street, Tomball, Texas 77375, for the purpose of considering the following agenda items. All agenda items are subject to action. The Tomball City Council and the Tomball Economic Development Corporation reserve the right to meet in a closed session for consultation with attorney on any agenda item should the need arise and if applicable pursuant to authorization by Title 5, Chapter 551, of the Texas Government Code. 1.0 Call to Order 2.0 Public Comments and Receipt of Petitions (At this time, anyone will be allowed to speak on any matter other than personnel matters or matters under litigation, for length of time not to exceed three minutes.
