MINUTES OF REGULAR PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION MEETING CITY OF TOMBALL, TEXAS MONDAY, APRIL 13, 2015 6:00 P.M. 1.0 The meeting was called to order by Chair Tague at 6:00 p.m. Other member present were: Commissioner Evelyn Torres Commissioner Harry Byrd Commissioner Darrel Roquemore Commissioner Richard Anderson – Excused Absence Others present: City Attorney – Loren Smith City Engineer – Lori Lakatos City Planner – Harold Ellis Community Development Coordinator – Amelia Vasquez 2.0 No Public Comments were received. 3.0 Reports and Announcements Board Appreciation Dinner scheduled for Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. Renovations to Council Chambers 4.0 Motion was made by Commissioner Roquemore, second by Commissioner Byrd, to approve the Minutes of the Regular Planning and Zoning Commission Meeting of March 9, 2015. Motion carried unanimously. 5.0 New Business: 5.1 Consideration to approve the Preliminary Plat of Broussard Community Park: A 16.6372 Acre Tract of Land Being all of a Called 16.637 Acre Tract Recorded Under Harris County Clerk’s File No. W130528 in the John S. Smith Survey, Abstract No. 730 City of Tomball, Harris County, Texas. Lori Lakatos, City Engineer, presented recommendation. Minutes Planning & Zoning Commission Meeting April 13, 2015 Page 2 of 3 Motion was made by Commissioner Byrd, second by Commissioner Torres, to approve Broussard Community Park. Motion carried unanimously. 5.2 Consideration to approve the Final Plat of Broussard Community Park: A 16.6372 Acre Tract of Land Being all of a Called 16.637 Acre Tract Recorded Under Harris County Clerk’s File No. W130528 in the John S. Smith Survey, Abstract No. 730 City of Tomball, Harris County, Texas. Lori Lakatos, City Engineer, presented recommendation. Motion was made by Commissioner Torres, second by Commissioner Byrd, to approve Broussard Community Park. Motion carried unanimously. 5.3 Consideration to approve the Preliminary Plat of CSS Real Estate Holding I: 0.8556 Acres Being all of a Called 0.8556 Acres Recorded Under County Clerk’s File Number Z417949 of the Official Public Records Real Property of Harris County Map Records Located in the Joseph Survey, Abstract 34 Harris County, Texas. Lori Lakatos, City Engineer, presented comments and recommendation. Motion was made by Commissioner Torres, second by Commissioner Roquemore, to approve CSS Real Estate Holding I, with contingencies. Motion carried unanimously. 5.4 Consideration to approve P D & J Enterprises: Being a subdivision of 0.3213 acre of land situated in the William Hurd Survey, Abstract Number 371, of Harris County, Texas, and being a replat of Lots 20, 21, 22 and 23, in Block 81 of Revised Map of Tomball, according to the map or plat thereof recorded in Volume 4, Page 25 of the Map Records of Harris County, Texas. Lori Lakatos, City Engineer, presented comments and recommendation. Motion was made by Commissioner Byrd, second by Commissioner Roquemore, to approve P D & J Enterprises, with contingencies. Motion carried unanimously. 6.0 Motion was made by Commissioner Roquemore, second by Commissioner Byrd, to adjourn.
