TOURISM ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEETING
CITY OF TOMBALL, TEXAS
Tuesday, October 26, 2021
6:00 P.M.
A. The meeting was called to order by Chair Holly Cook. Other Committee members present
were:

B. No Public Comments received.
C. Motion was made by Jeffie Cappadonna, second by Ted Mielke to approve the Minutes of
the April 27, 2021 Tourism Advisory Committee Meeting.
Motion carried unanimously.
D. New Business:
1. Motion was made by Ted Mielke, second by Jeffie Cappadonna to approve request from
Houston Repertoire Ballet for the Use of Hotel Occupancy Tax in the amount of
$16,500.00.

2. Motion was made by Raymond Francois, second by Paige Cassel to withdraw the application
submitted from the Tomball Sister Cities Organization for a later time, when application has
been completed.
Motion carried unanimously.
3. Motion was made by Jeffie Cappadonna, second by Paige Cassel to reappoint Raymond
Francois to position #8, appoint Ted Mielke to position #2 and Kailey Moore to position #5.
E. Adjournment:
Motion was made by Raymond Francois, second by Paige Cassel, to adjourn.
Motion carried unanimously.

Notice is hereby given of a meeting of the City of Tomball Tourism Advisory Committee, to
be held on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at 6:00 PM, City Hall, 401 Market Street, Tomball,
Texas 77375, for the purpose of considering the following agenda items. All agenda items
are subject to action. The Tourism Advisory Committee reserves the right to meet in a closed
session for consultation with attorney on any agenda item should the need arise and if
applicable pursuant to authorization by Title 5, Chapter 551, of the Texas Government
Code.
A. Call to Order
B. Public Comments and Receipt of Petitions; [At this time, anyone will be allowed to speak
on any matter other than personnel matters or matters under litigation, for length of
time not to exceed three minutes. No Council/Board discussion or action may take place
on a matter until such matter has been placed on an agenda and posted in accordance
with law - GC, 551.042.]

1. Approve the Minutes of the April 27, 2021 Meeting
D. New Business
2. Consideration of Application from Houston Repertoire Ballet for the Use of Hotel
Occupancy Tax
3. Consideration of Application from the Tomball Sister Cities Organization for
Grant from Hotel Occupancy Funds.
4. Appoint/Reappoint members to Positions 2, 5, and 8 of the Tourism Advisory
Committee Board, expiring December 5, 2021
