Pursuant to A.R.S. 38-431.02, notice is hereby given to the Mayor and Common Council and
the general public that the Historic Preservation Commission Meeting will be held on
Monday, August 04, 2025.
The Historic Preservation Commission Meeting will begin at 6:00 P.M. and is open to the
public. The meeting will be held at Schieffelin Hall on the Corner of Fremont and Fourth Streets.

A.R.S. 38-431.01 authorizes (but does not mandate) the Historic Preservation Commission
to make an open call to the public during a public meeting, subject to reasonable time, place
and manner restrictions, and to allow individuals to address the public body on any issue
within the jurisdiction of the public body. The time will be limited to three (3) minutes per
speaker. Those wishing to address the public body shall limit his or her remarks to issues
within the jurisdiction of the public body. However, this forum shall not be used for making
personal attacks or discussing personal issues directed to any individual member of the
Historic Preservation Commission or any other City employees.
V. APROVAL OF MINUTES
A. Discussion and/or Action: Approval of minutes for Historic Preservation Commission
from Monday, July 07, 2025.
VI. NEW ITEMS
A. Discussion and/or Action: To formally accept the resignation of Robert Davenport
from the Historic Preservation Commission.
B. Discussion and/or Action: Approval of Certificate of Appropriateness 2025-14,
submitted by Jeremiah Klug, for installation of a new 2' x 3' sign at 321-B Allen Street.
C. Discussion and/or Action: Approval of Certificate of Appropriateness 2025-15,
submitted by Sarah Scepurek, for the refacing of the existing “Russell Roadrunner” sign
to “The Yellow Canary” at 428 E. Allen Street.
D. Discussion and/or Action: Approval of Certificate of Appropriateness 2025-16,
submitted by Holy Joe, LLC, for a mural depicting the O.K. Corral gunfight to be painted
at 325 E. Allen Street.
