SCHIEFFELIN HALL (CORNER OF FREMONT AND FOURTH STREET) Pursuant to A.R.S. 38-431.02, notice is hereby given to the Mayor and Common Council and the general public that the Historic Preservation Commission Meeting will be held on Monday, October 6, 2025. The Historic Preservation Commission Meeting will begin at 6:00 P.M. and is open to the public. The meeting will be held at Schieffelin Hall on the Corner of Fremont and Fourth Streets. AGENDA I. CALL TO ORDER II. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE III. ROLL CALL IV. CALL TO PUBLIC A.R.S. 38-431.01 authorizes (but does not mandate) the Historic Preservation Commission to make an open call to the public during a public meeting, subject to reasonable time, place and manner restrictions, and to allow individuals to address the public body on any issue within the jurisdiction of the public body. The time will be limited to three (3) minutes per speaker. Those wishing to address the public body shall limit his or her remarks to issues within the jurisdiction of the public body. However, this forum shall not be used for making personal attacks or discussing personal issues directed to any individual member of the Historic Preservation Commission or any other City employees. V. APROVAL OF MINUTES A. Discussion and/or Action: Approval of minutes for Historic Preservation Commission from Monday, September 8, 2025. VI. NEW ITEMS A. Discussion and/or Action: Approval of Certificate of Appropriateness 2025-18, submitted by John DeMatteo from Old Kinderhook Carriage Rides, for installation of a new Horse Head Hitching Post outside at 321 E Allen Street near ticket booth. B. Discussion and/or Action: Approval of Certificate of Appropriateness 2025-19, submitted by Steve Murray from Tombstone Distillery for installation of a sign at 325 E Allen Street. C. Discussion and/or Action: Approval of Certificate of Appropriateness 2025-20, submitted by Robert Barnes of Tombstone Restoration Commission on behalf of the City of Tombstone for rehabilitation of trim and doors and repainting to match existing color adjusting to weathering effects.
