Approved by City Council & WPCA June 17, 2024 Vote: Unanimous MINUTES Vol. 27, Page 365 CITY COUNCIL & WPCA PUBLIC HEARING: 2024 NEIGHBORHOOD ASSISTANCE ACT CITY HALL AUDITORIUM/ZOOM JUNE 3, 2024 A PUBLIC HEARING was held by the City Council at the City Hall auditorium on Monday, June 3, 2024, to solicit citizen input regarding proposals for participation in the 2024 Neighborhood Assistance Act Program. Attendance was by ZOOM and in person. Present at the City Hall Auditorium were Mayor Elinor Carbone, Treasurer Dan Farley, Fleet Manager Emil Castro, WPCA Administrator Ed Tousey, Director of Information Technology Gerry Crowley, and Councilors Paul Cavagnero, Anne Ruwet, Stephen Ivain, and Drake Waldron. City Clerk Carol Anderson participated via Zoom. Councilors David Oliver, Molly Spino, and Corporation Counsel Michael Magistrali were absent. Mayor Carbone called the Public Hearing to order at 6:32 p.m. beginning with the Pledge of Allegiance. Assistant City Clerk Heather Abraham read the legal notice. Public Comment Jeanne Fusco, from Susan B. Anthony, thanked the Council for considering their application. Rich Carmelich, from Ed Advance, thanked the Council for the great work and told them that this will be used at the Grove Street location for energy-efficient windows.
