ADVISORIES This meeting will be conducted by electronic means in accordance with the “Senator Byron M. Baer Open Public Meetings Act” of 2020, which explicitly permits a public body to conduct a meeting electronically during a state of emergency. Governor Murphy issued Executive Orders 103 and 107 declaring a “Public Health Emergency and State of Emergency” and directing residents to quarantine and practice social distancing. After that, you will be put into a lobby where the public meeting moderator will get you into the meeting. 1  City of Trenton New Jersey  CONFERENCE 6:00 P.M. o Approval of Minutes o Memorialization of Resolution(s)  PRESENTATION and COMMUNITY CONVERSATION: Item #1 Trenton Transit Center Intersection Improvements Public Information Center The primary purpose of the Trenton Transit Center Circulation Improvements Local Concept Development Study is to develop and evaluate conceptual alternatives to enhance circulation, particularly for pedestrians and bicyclists, to, from, and through the Transit Center area, and select a preferred alternative to advance to design. This Public Information Center meeting is being held to solicit public feedback on the alternatives that have been developed as part of this process. The following three alternatives were developed: • Alternative 1: Market Street Road Diet • Alternative 2: Market Street Road Diet with S Clinton Avenue Pedestrian/Bicycle/Transit Only Street • Alternative 3: Roundabouts All three alternatives were evaluated and are being presented to the project stakeholders and the community during the second virtual Public Information Center. However, Alternative 3 will no longer be considered due to several fatal flaws related to the proposed roundabouts. Thus, only Alternatives 1 and 2 will be considered further for the selection of a preliminary preferred alternative. Item #2 Trenton Complete Streets Design Handbook The Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission (DVRPC) has developed a draft of the Trenton Complete Streets Design Handbook. This draft is being shared with the public at this meeting for feedback. Presenters from the DVRPC will explain how the Handbook should be interpreted and how feedback can be submitted. 2
