TROY CITY COUNCIL CONFIRMATION HEARING February 06, 2025 5:30 P.M. Pledge of Allegiance Roll Call Per Sections C-35 and C-36 of the Troy City Charter, I am hereby scheduling a confirmation hearing for Acting Comptroller Jack Krokos for Thursday, February 06, 2025 at 5:30 pm in City Council Chambers.  RES9 RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE APPOINTMENT OF JACK L. KROKOS AS COMPTROLLER OF THE CITY OF TROY ____________________________________________________________________________ WHEREAS, the Troy City Charter § C-41 provides that there shall be a City Comptroller who shall be the chief fiscal officer of the City, and who shall be appointed by and serve at the pleasure of the Mayor, subject to confirmation by the City Council; and WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Troy has appointed Jack L. Krokos to the position of City Comptroller and has filed a written letter of appointment in the Office of the City Clerk as required by Troy City Charter § C-36; and WHEREAS, Jack L. Krokos possesses the education and progressively responsible experience required by the Charter to perform the duties and fulfill the responsibilities of the Office of the City Comptroller, namely a four-year degree in accounting/business information from an accredited college or university and seven years of progressively responsible experience in overall financial administration and operations; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Troy City Council does hereby confirm the Mayor’s appointment of Jack L.
