- Planning Commission NOTICE of PUBLIC HEARING Notice is hereby given that the Planning Commission of the City of Troy, New York conducted a public hearing on th Thursday, July 25, 2019 at 6 pm in the Main Conference Room, 5 Floor, City Hall, 433 River Street, in order to hear and decide on proposals for development as follows: Call to Order: 6:06 pm Roll Call: Chair Aaron Vera (AV); Barbara Higbee (BH); Suzanne Spellen (SS); Sarah Wengert (SW) – all present NEW BUSINESS PLPC2019-0054 Site Plan Review of a proposal to install a temporary 43 x 60 foot building for radiotherapy. Project location is 2215 Burdett Ave, an INST Zone, Tax Map ID 101.48-3-2.1. Applicant is Samaritan Hospital, 2215 Burdett Ave, Troy, NY 12180. BH – clarified location of current facility and equipment AV – asked if facility was temporary per applicant’s choice, or per building regulations – applicant clarified that the structure was temporary and relocatable as a matter of construction AV – confirmed that City of Troy Building Department had already reviewed plans MOTION TO APPROVE SITE PLAN MADE BY BH, SECONDED BY SS SITE PLAN APPROVED BY A VOTE OF 4-0 CONCEPTUAL REVIEW PLPC2019-0055 Conceptual review of a proposal for the adaptive reuse of parcel into an aggregate trans-shipping facility. Project location is 0 Madison Street, a MULTI Zone, Tax Map ID 111.28-4-1. Applicant is City of Troy, 433 River Street, Troy, NY 12180. CONCEPTUAL REVIEW ONLY – NO ACTION TAKEN MOTION TO TABLE MADE BY AV, SECONDED BY SW TABLED BY A VOTE OF 4-0 MOTION TO ADJOURN MADE BY AV, SECONDED BY BH ADJOURNED AT 6:53 PM BY A VOTE OF 4-0 Should any unforeseen events occur, any of the proposals noted herein may not be reviewed at said hearing. Any proposals previously tabled by the Commission may be reviewed at this hearing without benefit of public notice. Any other proposals reviewed by the Commission at this hearing will receive publication in this newspaper at least five days prior to the hearing date.
