Our calendar for June/July is in color as part of the Summer
Reading Program. The first adult basket winner was a long-
standing patron. Next adult programs are Glen Delpit (Blues
musician) and Gutter Gardening by the local Master Gardeners.
SRP Kickoff on June 10th had approx. 700 attendees, with
454 attending the 4 showings of the E&M Reptile Family.
Several fun and informational youth programs are
planned and usually receive good attendance.
Jane: Our Summer Reading partner this year is the Tulare
Regional Medical Center. We are asking for donations of
children’s books to be used in one of the TRMC children’s
waiting areas. Employees from TRMC’s Evolutions will be
hosting an adult Zumba class at the library in July.
Board Members
Suggestions from the Board Suggested from last
meeting—Jane researched having a Library Paint Night as a
possible fundraiser. Most are held at a restaurant and the
company needs a 35 person minimum. Lisa suggested
contacting one of her friends who organizes these.
