ACTION MINUTES OF TULARE MEASURE I CITIZEN OVERSIGHT COMMITTEE, CITY OF TULARE May 9, 2018 A meeting of the Measure I Citizen Oversight Committee was held on Wednesday, May 9, 2018, at 5:30 p.m., in the Community Room, City Hall, 411 East Kern Avenue, Tulare, CA 93274 MEMBERS PRESENT: Nick Ferreira, Richard Dituri, Wayne Ross, Michelle Rowsey MEMBERS ABSENT: Maria Grijalva STAFF PRESENT: Darlene Thompson, Roxanne Yoder PUBLIC PRESENT: None I. CALL TO ORDER MEETING Chair Ferreira called the meeting to order at 5:32 p.m. II. CITIZEN COMMENTS Chair Ferreira advised that comments from the public are limited to items listed on the agenda (GC 54954.3a). Speakers will be allowed three minutes. Please begin your comments by stating and spelling your name and providing your city of residence. There were no public comments. III. General discussion, and questions and answers (1) Review of Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) and proposed budget specific to Measure I Fund. Finance Director Darlene Thompson provided a report for the Committee’s review and consideration. Ms. Thompson highlighted a schedule of Measure I revenues and expenditures, page 130 of the City’s Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) the auditor’s review of expenditures specific to Measure I. Lastly, she reviewed the proposed Budget, revenues and expenditures for FY 18/19. Questions and comments posed by the members were addressed by Ms. Thompson. The Committee Chair, Nic Ferreira was encouraged to attend the City’s Budget Session scheduled May 15, 2018 at 6 p.m. Informational meeting only, no action was requested of the Committee. IV.
