CITY OF TULARE PLANNING COMMISSION REGULAR MEETING MINUTES Council Chambers December 12, 2016 491 North M Street COMMISSIONERS PRESENT: Miller, Crase, Miguel, Killion Davis, Herrera TEENS ON BOARD PRESENT: None STAFF PRESENT: Rob Hunt, Community Development Director Traci Myers, Community Development Deputy Director Lucie Brown, Commission Clerk CALL TO ORDER: Chairman Killion called the regular meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: Chairman Killion led us in the flag salute. CITIZEN COMMENTS: None COMMISSIONER COMMENTS: Commissioner Crase stated that she was glad to see work being done on the old Fosters Freeze. She also asked if staff had any idea when Rosa’s would be opening up. Director Hunt stated that sometime in January the Commission should be seeing a request before them for an ABC license for Rosa’s. Planning Commission Minutes 1 December 12, 2016 STAFF COMMUNICATIONS: Director Hunt reminded the Commission that there will not be a meeting on December 26, 2016 and announced that at the first meeting in January there will be selection of officers. CONSENT CALENDAR: Minutes of the November 28, 2016 meeting: It was motioned by Commissioner Crase and seconded by Commissioner Miller to approve the Consent Calendar as presented. Motion carried by unanimous vote. PUBLIC HEARING: None GENERAL BUSINESS- NON PUBLIC HEARING ITEMS: Design Review No. 1081 Revisions: Director Hunt reviewed with the Commission a request by Jasvir Singh to review changes to the previously approved site plan. Changes include reconfiguring the building on the site, reduce the total building square footage and to change a maintenance bay to an additional wash bay. Property is located at South K Street and Industrial Avenue. Following Commissioner discussion, it was motioned by Commissioner Miguel and seconded by Commissioner Herrera to adopt Resolution 5206, approving Revisions to Design Review No. 1081 based on the findings and subject to the conditions as listed in the staff report.
