4. Introductions and Agenda Review:

b. Assessment status

a. January 31, 2024 Steering Committee Meeting
b. Kathy motioned, Dana 2nd
6. Public Comment: No Comments
7. Member Comment: Kathy saw juvenile eagle eating goose eggs on Lark Island.
8. Lake Management
a. RFP Submittal Update (Smith)
Review the RFP Proposal.
Tom: What is the background of this company?
Patrick: good reputation for work on other county lakes
Kathy motioned to develop contract based on the proposal. Dana 2 nd.
Unanimous.
2024 Meeting Dates
January 31 April 3 May 8 June 12 Sept. 11 (5:00 walk about) October 9 November 13
b. Status of the 2023 Annual Treatment Report (Smith) No Report is available. Dan
reached out to offer support.
c. Lake Levels and Temperature (Kangiser)
Sampling starts next month.
9. General Business
a. Assessment are going out in late April or May. Newsletter to accompany the
assessment
b. 2024 Work Plan
Reviewed work plan
c. 2024 Budget
No expenses: $68,000 balance with assessment from 2024.
Kathy: How well are people paying their assessments? Dan: Very well. Liens and
other processes are working for people to pay.
d. Gary’s award: Dave read the award letter.
10. Future Agenda Items
May 8 meeting tentative to see if contractor is available.
